The allocation of Hajj seats is divided between the Haj Committee of India (HCoI) and private Haj Group Organisers (HGOs). A portion of Indian pilgrims travel through the HCoI, while others travel with registered private HGOs. To be eligible for Hajj, you must be financially, physically, behaviorally, and mentally fit. Any Muslim citizen of India can apply, except under certain conditions. Seat allotment is prioritized for the elderly and ladies without a male guardian (mehram), followed by the general category. Hajj bookings are made through the official Nusuk platform. Al-Hira Tours & Travels acts as your guide, assisting you through the process and providing support throughout your journey. We help you select a package that is suitable for you and then guide you through the Nusuk platform.
What are the visa requirements for Hajj?
You need a valid Hajj visa, which includes insurance, polio/meningitis vaccination, and Moallim (guide) fees. The ACW meningitis vaccination is a mandatory requirement. Al-Hira Tours and Travels will help you with this process.
Is the COVID-19 vaccine required?
The COVID-19 vaccine is not a requirement for Hajj, though you are required to have the ACW meningitis vaccination
What is the difference between "shifting" and "non-shifting" Hajj packages?
In a shifting package, you stay in one hotel in Makkah before Hajj, then move to a different hotel (often near Mina) during the Hajj days, and then return to a hotel near the Haram after Hajj.
In a non-shifting package, you stay in one hotel for the entire duration of your stay in Makkah, often in close proximity to the Haram. Shifting packages are typically more value for money, while non-shifting offers the comfort of staying in one place, and often a higher standard of hotel.
What type of transportation is provided?
You will travel in air-conditioned buses between Jeddah Airport, Makkah, Madinah, and the holy sites. There are separate AC buses for the Hajj Mashair (holy sites). The only transportation that is typically not included is the short trips between Mina and Makkah to perform Tawaf-e-Ziyara.
What kind of accommodation is included in the packages?
Accommodation varies from 3-star to 5-star hotels in Makkah and Madinah, with different distances from the Holy Haram. Packages may include hotels near the Clock Tower. During the five days of Hajj, you may be staying in air-conditioned tents in Mina.
Are meals included in the packages?
Yes, packages typically include full board.
Is laundry service available?
Yes, laundry services are provided in Makkah and Madinah in many packages.
What is included in the travel kit?
